The LGA line of stationary, high-performance beveling machines utilizes ceramic grinding belts to quickly and easily bevel the edges of even the largest and thickest metal plates.
The LGA Series of high-performance beveling machines are designed especially for high volume plate beveling. These machines utilize an abrasive belt that can process a variety of metals including carbon steel, stainless steel, and specialty metals with high alloy content including Nickel (Ni), Titanium (Ti), and Chromium (Cr).
The LGA Series beveling machines can bevel materials up to a rate of 10 ft/min by utilizing a ceramic grinding belt that is up to 6″ wide and can produce an accurate bevel face of up to 4″. The speed and efficiency of these machines will return your investment quickly.
The plate is pneumatically clamped onto a support table and the grinding belt, which moves on a rail system, bevels the plate in one or more passes. The LGA Series III machines offer the ability to apply top and bottom bevels. The control unit can store up to 200 programs and can recall desired chamfer angles and chamfer depths. Programming can be performed either manually or by using the “Teach-In” option. An exhaust system and extended support tables are available as optional equipment.
