SAAR USA announces new compact, rugged stationary beveling machine: The MMB 100.

SAAR USA has announced the availability of a new stationary beveling machine known as the MMB 100. This compact, rugged beveling machine compliments Saar’s other larger beveling machines but is just as suitable for industrial applications.

The MMB 100 is compact, measuring just 26”L x 14”W x 20”H, making it perfect where plant floor space may be limited. But don’t be fooled by this machine’s small size. It can easily create smooth, burr-free bevel widths up to 3/8” on steel, stainless and aluminum. This easy-to-use beveling machine allows manual feed for total control of a workpiece, with a fixed 45° angle bevel. The milling head with its six, 4-sided indexable inserts provides ample cutting power for a smooth operation.

“Not everyone who requires a beveled edge needs one of our larger machines,” states Iwan Antonow, Executive Vice President of Saar-Hartmetall USA. “The new MMB 100 gives users more options for creating a beveled edge on a smaller, more compact machine. In spite of its size, the MMB 100 is still a great choice for any industrial application.
